Leavenworth, Eightmile - Burnt black log in a sea of green spring growth

Eightmile Lake Trail, Alpine Lakes Wilderness, WA

This log is a remnant of the Icicle Creek fire in the 90's. Lots of evidence of fire damage on this trail, and I think it creates some neat contrast with the spring wildflowers.
